We Take All Major Heath Funds

 
At Excel Physiotherapy and Wellness, we are registered with all major health funds. If you have ‘extras’ coverage with your heath fund then we can automatically process your payment through our healthpoint terminal – similar to HICAPS. This allows for efficient and easy all-in-one processing as long as you bring your health fund card with you. You will only make a gap payment, if any, towards your treatment. If you do not bring your card with you, then we can issue you with a tax receipt to submit to your health fund in the usual way.

The amount of the gap payment depends on the level of coverage that you have with your health fund and on the remaining allowance that you have for physiotherapy or massage on your health fund. Recently, on the advice of our professional body, the APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association), we withdrew from the BUPA Member’s First scheme. However, we still take BUPA cards at our health point terminal, similar to any other health funds. We are writing to let you know that Excel Physiotherapy and Wellness has made the decision to withdraw from the BUPA Member’s First scheme on 4th August 2018. We will be offering our existing BUPA clients a discount until the end of 2018.
