Announcing Our Partnership with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra 2016
We’re thrilled to announce that we have entered into a community partnership with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra has been the nation’s leading Baroque period orchestra for the last thirty years. They Orchestra has played before 50,000 people in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne alone. Whilst touring Europe the Orchestra played at the London BBC Proms, in a performance that ‘had everyone roaring for more’.
The Brandenburg’s twenty recordings with ABC Classics include five ARIA winners for best Classical Album. In 2016, the Brandenburg Orchestra deservedly won the Helpmann Award for Best Chamber Orchestra.
Excel’s Managing Director, Tim Ellis, has been working closely with the Orchestra for over fifteen years. During that time, Tim has treated musicians with a wide variety of injuries.
