Yoga and Pilates
At Excel Physiotherapy and Wellness, we offer lunch time and evening yoga classes in our boutique studio.
Come and enjoy a cup of herbal tea before stepping into our candlelit yoga studio for a truly unique and relaxing yoga experience. Together we will flow, nurturing and nourishing our bodies as we melt open and bring balance into our minds.
We provide all yoga mats and props for our students. Wear comfortable, light, loose fitting clothing that allows you to move freely.

“Please join me on Monday’s for a nourishing Slow Flow where we work with the foundation asana’s and move with our breath. On Wednesday’s we practice Gentle Hatha Yoga moving through restorative posture’s, relaxation and meditation. Both classes are suitable for those with little to no yoga experience and are holistic in nature. We look forward to welcoming you to our warm and cosy community.”
Pilates is a targeted form of exercise designed to improve your core stability, muscle strength, endurance and mental and physical wellbeing.
Working in with your physiotherapy program or as a stand alone exercise, pilates helps improve your posture, flexibility and range of movement. We will work with you in order to achieve your goals whether they be:
- core stability
- improved posture
- improved strength
- improved coordination
- weight loss
- improved fitness
- increased muscle tone
Both Reformer and mat Pilates are included in our small group classes. With a maximum of just 5 students, we offer you personalised teacher training in a supportive and nurturing space. Our classes are fun and inspiring, leaving you feeling lighter, lengthened and energised.
